A Splash of Red
I was recently looking across blogs posts for inspiration for a design; colour was what called out to me. What colour did I (predictably) pick for February? Red. So yeah I fell for it and let Valentine's day take over the focus of the entire month on FreeImages!

A look back at the Best of 2015
Lots of excellent images were uploaded to freeimageslive last year, and some major updates to the site and search have made real improvements for visitors. We've also done lots of work properly cataloguing our house image collection to make images easier to find.
As we've done at this time of year before, here's a retrospective of some or our favourite user uploads
The images here were selected for several reasons, technical merit, usefulness as stock photos, and in some cases just the emotional response they generated.

Seeing Something Extra-Ordinary Out of the Ordinary
I started being a local writer, basically and maybe just to express my deep emotions. I am very sensitive, emotional, expressive and instinctive that at times I put a deeper meaning of something that I see, feel or hold. When I stopped writing, I felt like I took away something that is a part of me. Then a lot of adversities come my way. I started to ask a lot of questions that can't be answered, I have gone through some depths to find an answer. So I came across the idea of meditation.
12 red numbers to use for presentations
I just fininshed uploading 12 individual red numbers for anyone to use for their presentations. I find things like this really useful as a stock reserve, as they can look a little better than the normal text generated ones in powerpoint.
I created these for an original set of posts on my website, but rather than have these sat on my desktop and only being used once in a while, I thought I would get these online here and see if anyone else could get any use from them.
