THE NEW FOREST DRIFTS: Each year, every one of the ponies in the New Forest, England is brought in for a health check! This appers similar to scenes from the 'Wild West' at times, but is very well controlled, and no animals are hurt at all during the 'Pony RoundUps'!

Interested in macro photography, animals, birds, anything difficult that moves! Live in New Forest, so plenty of scope! Have spent 8 holidays on different islands in the Maldives - mainly underwater - snorkelling - so have many photos to upload. I believe in photography - and stick as closely as possible to using original images! Yes, of course, I crop photos, and make minor changes - but most of my images are kept close to the original I took, and are not heavily 'Photoshopped'! (Though I use Aperture, anyway!) I spent 23 years working for a New York headquartered company, travelling Europe as their Marketing Communications Director, Laboratory Division. I love travel, too, anything from local days out in the New Forests - never boring - to the far flung island of the Indian Ocean - and everywhere in between !
